Meet Dr. Sonja Finnie, D.D.S, M.S.

Dr. Finnie joined Dr Bock's Redlands team in 2000. She is a board certified orthodontist, and has lived in the Inland Empire her entire life.

She graduated as valedictorian from Beaumont High School in 1990. She then completed her bachelor's degree in 1994 from the University of Redlands, with a major in biology, and minor in chemistry, graduating magna cum laude. For the next six years, she attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1998 and graduated at the top of her class. She completed the orthodontic program in 2000 and received a Master's degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Her desire to become an orthodontist started early in life. After undergoing orthodontic treatment herself as a teenager, she knew that orthodontics was he career for her. Dr. Finnie finds it extremely rewarding to help create beautiful smiles for her patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Finnie enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and pets! She likes to help out with a good cause when she can. She completed her first marathon last year to help raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She also completed two 3 -Day Walks for Breast Cancer in recent years, walking 60 miles for each event, and raised much needed funds for research and treatment programs.

Dr. Finnie places great importance on giving her patients top-duality treatment, in a caring and understanding manner.
